Apply Now for Student Activist Training

Take it from Alum, Christina-Alexa Liakos (Fall 2006):

The GOT by far exceeded my expectations. I was given the opportunity to gain not only the skills I need to effectively run a campaign, but I have also been able to apply those skills and gain first-hand experience with Greenpeace USA and International. I can only hope that by continuing to share my knowledge and experiences from the GOT with others, you, I and the rest of our generation will not only discuss change, but work to see it happen together.

Apply here: www.greenpeace.org/got

Tell the EPA to Do the Right Thing

The EPA has concluded that there is overwhelming evidence that greenhouse gases from fossil fuels endanger our health and welfare. This means that President Obama could soon have the power to regulate dangerous greenhouse gases himself should Congress fail to do what’s necessary.  It’s up to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and YOU to decide.

Tell the EPA to do the right thing: http://tinyurl.com/qb99to.

Until June 23rd, they’ll be accepting public comments to help them decide what to do. We want to get as many comments supporting the position of regulating these gases as possible before the deadline.

Make sure the EPA knows how you feel by submitting a comment today: http://tinyurl.com/qb99to.
